Toni Kroos isn’t the only Real Madrid player that will be making their final appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday when Real Betis come to town. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was recently relegated to third choice following the return of Thibaut Courtois, will also be leaving in the summer, but not before playing for one final time.

As per Diario AS, Carlo Ancelotti plans to give Kepa a few minutes towards the end of the Betis match. Courtois is likely to start with a view to being in goals for the Champions League final, but the idea is for the Chelsea loanee to have a farewell appearance. However, it could be scrapped depending on the game situation.

Kepa signed on a season-long loan last summer following Courtois’ ACL injury, and although he was number one for the first few months, he lost the spot to Andriy Lunin just before the end of 2023.

It remains to be seen where Kepa ends up for next season, as he’s unlikely to stay at Chelsea. One thing for certain is that he won’t be back at Real Madrid.
