Carlos Tevez resigns as Independiente coach

Carlos Tevez has resigned as Independiente coach.

Independiente have announced on social media X that the former Manchester United and Manchester City star has resigned.

"Carlos Tevez has informed of his decision not to continue as head coach of the first team.

"We would like to highlight the commitment and professionalism of the outgoing coaching staff, who took over at a difficult time and led us on the way to new goals," stated the Argentines.

Tevez took over at Independiente back in August, where it has since been 14 wins, ten draws and seven losses. Tevez suffered a heart scare last month, which led him to being rushed to local hospital.
