As the 2025/26 season comes towards its final few months, Casemiro is now looking ahead to the next chapter in his footballing career.
Across his time on the pitch at Sao Paulo, Real Madrid, FC Porto and Manchester United, as well as for the Brazil national side, the veteran midfielder has made a total of 735 appearances with 77 goals and 65 assists.
The 33-year-old has won the Copa America, five Champions League titles, three UEFA Supercups, three La Liga titles, four domestic cups and the Copa Sudamericana.
However he doesn’t look set to stop as he’s now looking for his next club.
A move to the MLS could be on the cards as LA Galaxy and Inter Miami are both considering a move for the soon-to-be free agent, while Saudi Arabia is also an option.
However, The Sun has reported that former club Sao Paulo are also looking to bring him home to his boyhood club.
It’s understood the Brazilian club are offering a two-year contract to the midfielder which would also include a contract to work at the club at the end of the two years.
Casemiro was with Sao Paulo from 2002 until 2013 when he formally move to Real Madrid after a six-month loan spell, seeing him break into Europe.
As such, a homecoming could be on the cards with the veteran midfielder still a core part of the Brazil national team as well.
