During the week, Barcelona drew 3-3 against Club Brugge in the Champions League. Ferran Torres scored the first goal for Barcelona, but Lamine Yamal was key for Barcelona to avoid defeat as he scored and sent a cross that led to an own goal from Club Brugge's Christos Tzolis.

Celta Vigo has won their last five games across all competitions. In their previous La Liga match, Celta Vigo defeated Levante 2-1 away from home with goals from Oscar Mingueza and Miguel Roman.

During the week, Celta Vigo defeated Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 away from home in the Europa League. The goal scorers were Pablo Duran, who scored two goals, and an own goal from Dinamo Zagreb player Sergi Dominguez.

FC Barcelona's injury crisis continues as Jules Jounde withdrew from training ahead of the match against Celta Vigo due to some discomfort. Hansi Flick confirmed that Kounde is hurt and may miss the match.
