The Maestro, Paul McStay today launched the Celtic FC Foundation Christmas appeal asking the Celtic family to do what they can to support the appeal that can help share the Spirit of Christmas with those who need it most…

Celtic FC Foundation – the club’s charitable arm – today launched their 2025 Christmas Appeal, ahead of the 138th anniversary of the Club’s formation tomorrow, humbly asking supporters to join the Foundatio in sharing the Spirit of Christmas with those who need our support.

Whilst this need is ever-present and far-reaching, the festive period is the time when hardships are felt most profoundly. Through last year’s Appeal, you made a phenomenal difference, with the Celtic Family raising and distributing an incredible £412K and you can find full details HERE.

Together the Celtic family did all this, making Christmas Magic for so many people in need:

  • 1,068 families facing poverty and hardship in Glasgow and in West, Belfast/Lisburn and Dublin, including those who attended Paradise Pit Stop on Christmas Day.
  • 938 vulnerable pensioners and other individuals across Glasgow and the West and Edinburgh.
  • 725 Glasgow children.
  • 38 grass roots charities.

And the Celtic FC Foundation’s 2025 Christmas Appeal, as always, once again aims to bring some comfort and joy to those who need it most. Across local communities, the Foundation will be supporting families facing poverty – pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees, along with a host of others who are experiencing hardships.

And through the Paradise Pit Stop initiative – which operates four days a week, all year round – the Celtic Foundation will once again open the doors of our home, Celtic Park, for a special Christmas Day offering, providing a festive meal and the warmest of welcomes. Further details on the registration process will be available later this week on the official Celtic FC website.

The Christmas Appeal will touch thousands of lives this festive period and now the Foundation ask you, the completely unique and unsurpassable Celtic support, to stand with them and help make a positive difference for those who need it most.

In addition to requesting donations, the Appeal will also see the return of a host of fundraising events and initiatives and full details can be found HERE.

You can get behind this year’s Celtic FC Foundation Christmas Appeal in many ways, all of which are now listed on the club’s official website with full ways to donate listed HERE.

Please note that the Celtic FC Foundation annual Christmas Appeal Bucket Collection will take place ahead of the Celtic v Kilmarnock match this weekend!
