Celtic send birthday wishes to icon Shunsuke Nakamura

Celtic have wished one of their favourite sons, Shunsuke Nakamura a Happy Birthday today. The ex-Japan international spent the best years of his career at Parkhead and gave the Hoops supporters many a good time and wonderful memories along the way during his time at Paradise.

Having been signed by Gordon Strachan when he joined the club from Reggina in Italy’s Serie A, the wide-man shows his undoubted class and ability straight from the off in Scottish football and was rightfully feared up and down the country. A master in the art of free-kick taking, Shunsuke scored some memorable goals for the club and helped down Manchester United at Celtic Park I  the UEFA Champions League group stages with this beauty… https://youtu.be/dRxTbAPujlE He also won the League for us in 2007 with a last-gasp winner at Rugby Park which was another cracker of a free-kick which sent the Celtic supporters which were jam-packed into the Ayshire outfit’s stadium into raptures that day.
