Inter Milan have reportedly decided against selling Mehdi Taremi but will listen to offers for Sebastiano Esposito.
Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Iran international is off the market despite his disappointing first season at San Siro.
Mehdi Taremi joined Inter as a free agent last summer, carrying a reputation as one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
However, he only managed one Serie A goal in 2024/25.
Compounding matters is the fact his only strike came from the spot.
Yet, Inter will stick with the 32-year-old, though he’ll reportedly be a fourth choice in attack.
Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will lead the line next season.
Meanwhile, Inter will try to sign two new center-forwards during the summer.
Parma’s Ange-Yoan Bonny and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund are the club’s top targets.
On the other hand, someone will have to make room.
Despite Joaquin Correa’s exit and Marko Arnautovic’s impending departure, Inter will set free another striker.
Sebastiano Esposito is likely to fall victim to Inter’s need for cash.
