For the third time in this best-of-three series in the MLS playoffs, Charlotte FC and New York City FC face off on the pitch.

The third leg will be played tonight at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The third match is played in Charlotte since Charlotte FC finished 4th in the Eastern Conference, while NYCFC finished 5th.

In Game 1, New York City FC defeated Charlotte FC 1-0 on October 28, 2025, with a 34th-minute goal from Costa Rican striker Alonso Martinez.

Last weekend, NYCFC hosted Charlotte FC at Yankee Stadium for Game 2. NYCFC had the opportunity to advance to the semifinals, but the match finished 0-0 in regular time. The match went to penalties to determine the winner.

Charlotte FC defeated NYCFC 7-6 in an epic penalty shootout. Charlotte FC's Ashley Westwood missed the first penalty of the shootout, but then NYCFC's Julian Fernandez missed.

NYCFC Agustin Ojeda missed the penalty as Charlotte's Kristijan Kahlina made the decisive save to give Charlotte FC the win and tie the series 1-1.

Where to Watch Charlotte FC vs New York City FC - Game 3

Game 3 of Charlotte FC vs New York City FC in the MLS playoffs will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT in the United States tonight.

The match will kick off at 7 p.m. local time in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Bank of America Stadium. The match will be available to watch on the MLS Season Pass, which is available only on Apple TV.
