Chelsea coach recommends player to the club who he has great bond with

A Chelsea coach has put a recommendation in to the club as they search for one particular position to fill.

Chelsea really need a new goalkeeper after selling Edouard Mendy earlier in the window, and despite Mauricio Pochettino allegedly liking Kepa Arrizabalaga and being happy to have him as his number one, many Chelsea fans believe that would be a ludicrous decision.

They need a new goalkeeper regardless, and it looks like it is going to be a stopper to provide competition to Kepa, rather than take his place as number one, much to the annoyance of some fans.

But I’m not even sure the potential competition will be a popular choice either, with Brighton’s Robert Sanchez now becoming the priority target in that position according to The Evening Standard.

But Sanchez comes recommended by goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts, who has a great bond with the player after working with him at Brighton.
