Chelsea are one of many teams that are aiming for success in the 2025-26 Premier League season.

The London outfit, currently led by Enzo Maresca, sit fourth in the league currently as its twenty sides approach a busy festive period.

Furthermore, the Blues have picked up 29 points this season, whilst also winning eight games and losing just four.

Meanwhile, the outfit have also kept eight clean sheets this season (the second most of any team).

However, Chelsea have also had four red cards in the 2025-26 Premier League season, the most of any team so far this campaign.

As well as this, the side currently sit seven points away from third placed Aston Villa and ten points away from Arsenal at the summit of the league.

With this in mind, the January transfer window could offer the opportunity to bring the correct quality needed into the side and to boost their chances of achieving a better league finish at the end of the season.

Now, the side have joined the race for Manchester United target Antoine Semenyo, according to Ben Jacobs on his X account.

Jacobs has also revealed that the London outfit have considered an approach for the attacker as the January window approaches.

Semenyo has been at the centre of attention for many clubs in the Premier League so far this season, with Manchester United and Manchester City emerging as the two main sides in for the Bournemouth player.

However, Liverpool have also looked to revive their interest in the attacker as the window approaches.

Meanwhile, with the saga ongoing, CentreDevils exclusively revealed that United would negotiate the Antoine Semenyo release clause in instalments rather than pay the full £65 million up front.

But, with Chelsea now in the race for the attacker, the possibility of a deal has arguably decreased.
