Several sources claim that Chelsea have inquired about Juventus-owned midfielder Douglas Luiz, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea have shown interest in Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic.
Romano claims that the Blues have made contact with Juventus to ask about the ex-Aston Villa star, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Tuttosport and TMW suggested last week that Forest were reluctant to make Douglas Luiz’s move permanent at the end of the season, but the 27-year-old is not part of Juventus’ plans either.
Talks between the Bianconeri and Chelsea are only at an initial phase, but the Italian side is surely eager to discuss a new transfer for Douglas Luiz, as long as the midfielder doesn’t return to Turin at the end of the season.
Forest have an obligation to buy Douglas Luiz for €25m, but only if the ex-Aston Villa star plays at least 45 minutes in 15 games across all competitions this season.
