Chelsea fan gets picture with pending new signing at London Airport on Thursday night

One Chelsea fan has been spotted with a pending new signing of the club at London Stansted Airport on Thursday night.

This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.

The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.

Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!

It all moved quick yesterday

Breaking news coming out yesterday as it developed quick during the day, saw Chelsea come very close to signing Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Delap will have a Chelsea medical and be confirmed as a new Blues signing by later today.

Delap spotted in London

A Chelsea fan took the opportunity to get a photo alongside the pending new Chelsea striker on Thursday night, as cited on X.

You can see the image above, along with a posted captain of:

‘Liam Delap spotted at London Stansted Airport on Thursday evening ahead of his proposed Chelsea move.’

I think he is off to the Euros soon with England U21, so I’m not sure if it is to do with that. So maybe he has already done a Chelsea medical. I am sure we will soon find out the full details on what is happening there but he was certainly happy to pose with Chelsea fans!
