Chelsea into FA Cup Final with 2-0 win over Crystal Palace

Chelsea is on to the FA Cup Final after a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace in a semifinal match Sunday. Liverpool earned the other spot in the final by beating Manchester City, 3-2, on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek broke things open with his first goal since 2020.

About 11 minutes later, Mason Mount doubled the Chelsea lead.

Chelsea is headed to its third consecutive FA Cup Final, but lost its last two appearances against Arsenal and Leicester City. A year ago, Chelsea appeared to level the score with Leicester by scoring late in regulation, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR check and Chelsea lost, 1-0.

Liverpool has won the FA Cup seven times, while Chelsea has won eight times. The two clubs will meet in the final on Saturday, May 14.
