Chelsea seek swift manager appointment

Chelsea are confident of conducting a thorough but quick process to find a new manager.

The Blues parted company with head coach Mauricio Pochettino this week.

The Argentine was sacked despite leading the club to a cup final and sixth place in the Premier League.

Per The Standard, Chelsea's owners believe they can hire a top manager very quickly.

Candidates for the post include Kieran McKenna of Ipswich, Roberto De Zerbi, and Enzo Maresca of Leicester City.

Brentford's Thomas Frank is also an option, while the club admires Burnley's Vincent Kompany.
