'Chelsea still active' – Journalist drops big teaser on potential new Chelsea signing

A journalist has dropped a pretty big teaser on a ‘one to watch’ potential new Chelsea signing with something going on there.

Chelsea are starting to get a bit more active in the market now with a few bits and pieces going on in terms of possible outgoings and possible incomings.

Chelsea did recently enter talks with the agent of Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze, only to be put off by a few things including his wage demands. And this one looks like it will not happen right now.

And from Eze, it looks like Chelsea have turned their attentions to Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig as another option for the new attacker that they wish to still bring in this window. Simons at the moment seems to prefer a move to Chelsea over Arsenal, which is great news for The Blues.

There certainly seems to be a few things brewing up as we move further into this fresh week ahead.

Chelsea also in for defenders

The Blues are linked with wanting to sign a new defender or two as well and could enter the market for one very soon.

But they are also looking at a player who could perhaps come in and become top cover for Marc Cucurella, something they have not really got in the squad right now.
