These are the Chelsea vs Hull confirmed lineups for their FA Cup clash as Premier League opposition take on EFL Championship high fliers. This is a match between one of Liam Rosenior’s former teams and his current one, both of which he has been relatively successful with. The Blues will be hoping for an emphatic win here as they can rotate and take the week off before recouping for Burnley, that will allow the manager some time to continue gaining momentum while also getting some players back fit and his ideas across to a squad who’ve been playing every few days since his appointment.
It is a bit of a crisis for the manager to content with, luckily his squad has been build with rotation in mind but as many as nine different players could be unavailable.
According to PremierInjuries, Romeo Lavia, Levi Colwill, Dario Essugo, and Mykhailo Mudryk are still long-term absentees with no clear return date in sight. Jamie Gittens is a new addition to that crew as he tore his hamstring and will be out for some time.
Reece James, Tosin Adarbaioyo, and Filip Jorgensen all have smaller issues and could feature here but likely won’t be risked for it unless 100% fit.
Subs: Sharman-Lowe, Gusto, Acheampong, Tosin, Badiashile, Enzo, Jesse Derry, Joao Pedro, Mheuka
The Tigers could be without Toby Collyer, Charlie Hughes, Eliot Matazo, Darko Gyabi, and Mohamed Belloumi for this big tie with Premier League opposition.
Subs: Pandur, Lundstram, Jacob, Drameh, Gelhardt, Joseph, Famewo, Dowell, Tinsdale
