Chelsea Want ‘Extra Creator’ Amid Interest in Tottenham Target With PSG Clause

On Friday, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey confirmed that Chelsea have made progress in talks over Simons in the past 48 hours.

“Chelsea are working on this extra creator – which is amazing considering they have Cole Palmer and Estevao,” Bailey told TBR Football. “However, Chelsea’s recruitment staff know what they want.

“Talks are ongoing over Xavi Simons, but their interest in Morgan Rogers has not gone away. Joe Shields, as we have said, would love to bring Rogers to Stamford Bridge, and there is still strong interest from within the club in Garnacho.”

CaughtOffside recently revealed that Simons could be available for around €60 million this summer and is open to moving to the Premier League. Discussions are underway about a potential transfer to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all in the mix as possible destinations for the Netherlands international.
