Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel reportedly has 'little interest' in Cristiano Ronaldo

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo may already be running out of options if he is serious about forcing an exit from Premier League club Manchester United this summer.

It was previously learned Ronaldo would not be part of the United squad traveling for a preseason tour of Thailand and Australia following a report from last weekend that claimed he wishes to leave Old Trafford to join a club playing in this season's UEFA Champions League competition. However, ESPN noted Wednesday that Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn publicly stated signing the living legend "wouldn't be a fit with our philosophy."

The 37-year-old has also been linked in transfer rumors with Chelsea. However, The Independent's Miguel Delaney reported Friday that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel "has little interest in pursuing a deal" at this time.

"A firm call on Ronaldo has not been made, but he is not on the German’s list of targets," Delaney explained. Additionally, Napoli are also said to be not interested in acquiring Ronaldo's services.

United granted Ronaldo time away and allowed him to miss the start of preseason training for an unspecified "family issue." Delaney reports that the reason is legitimate and that CR7 isn't on "strike" in an attempt to secure a move to a different team.

Ronaldo tallied 24 goals across all competitions for United last season. United, meanwhile, are scheduled to return to Manchester from the preseason trip on July 25.
