Reports in Italy claim that Inter have already decided to offer their coach, Cristian Chivu, a new contract beyond June 2027.
Italian sports newspapers Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport report that Inter will offer Chivu a new contract at the end of the season.
The Nerazzurri are determined to continue with the 45-year-old for the coming years, so they are set to extend his contract beyond June 2027.
According to the reports, Chivu will be offered a one-year contract extension with a pay rise.
The Nerazzurri boss earns €2.5m per season, and his new salary will depend on the results the team achieves in Serie A and in the Champions League in the second part of the campaign.
Currently, Inter are still running in three competitions.
They are the Serie A table leaders with a five-point lead over city rivals Milan. They have also qualified for the Coppa Italia semifinal and the Champions League knockout play-off.
