Chukwueze one of three signings who need patience from Milan this summer

Samuel Chukwueze is one of three AC Milan players that the club will have to show patience in if they are to succeed in Italy. 

As highlighted by Milan News, there are two clear groups when it comes to Milan’s 2023 summer signings with one set of three having played very well, and another set of three still waiting to make the sort of impact everyone expected.

In terms of those who do not need to sweat about their Milan future at all, there are Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic.

That trio start almost every game for Milan and Pulisic and Loftus-Cheek in particular can battle it out for player of the season.

As for Yunus Musah, Chukwueze and Noah Okafor, there is an outside chance that they are shipped out in the summer if the right bids come along given they have failed to carve out a starting place in the team at any point.

There is no suggestion that Milan are actively trying to sell any of the three players, but they won’t have the same protection from the market that other players in the team will enjoy this summer. Next season will be when they have to really perform.
