City’s Norwegian starlet looks set to commit his future to Manchester City

Manchester City’s Norwegian starlet Oscar Bobb looks set to commit his future to the club. Bobb has risen through the academy ranks at the world champions and his rise looks set to be rewarded with a contract extension.

The young attacker has appeared right at home in Pep Guardiola’s squad this season. City’s Norwegian starlet graduated to the Manchester City first team this season. His form for the Manchester City youth sides earned him an opportunity to train with the City first team last summer. It has been an opportunity Bobb has seized with both hands. The youngster always appeared destined to thrive with the Manchester City first-team squad. He has taken his chance with both hands and appears set for a long career at the Etihad.

So far this season Bobb has made 16 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions. He has added 2 goals and 2 assists while learning his craft. But what has been evident in Bobb’s appearances is the quality he brings to the City lineup. His ability in tight spaces coupled with his dribbling ability is perfectly suited to Pep Guardiola’s squad.

The perfect example of this was his late winner against Newcastle in City’s 3-2 win at St. James Park. After receiving a sumptuous ball from Kevin De Bruyne Bobb’s quick feet and thinking saw him superbly win a must-win game for the champions. It was a remarkable piece of individual brilliance from Bobb and showed exactly why he is so highly regarded at Manchester City.
