Como are going wild on the transfer market this summer and are close to securing a deal worth €20m plus bonuses for Real Betis attacking winger Jesus Rodriguez.
Having secured their Serie A status and kept hold of coach Cesc Fabregas, the ambition continues to build at the Stadio Sinigaglia.
Along with negotiations for Milan pair Alvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw, Como directors were busy today working out the details of a different deal with Real Betis Balompié.
Fabregas specifically requested the arrival of Jesus Rodriguez, who at the age of 19 has already made his mark with the Conference League Finalists and Spain Under-21 team.
The total cost of the operation should eventually reach circa €20m plus add-ons.
Rodriguez made 44 competitive appearances for Real Betis this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
He plays as a left-sided attacking winger or part of a trident attack.
