Sky Sport Italia reports that Como have not given up on Milan centre-back Malick Thiaw and have reached an agreement to sign AZ Alkmaar talent Jayden Addai, who was also wanted by Celtic.

Como are unwilling to give up on Milan defender Thiaw and are pushing to reach an agreement with the Germany international.

Previous reports claimed that Thiaw was reluctant to move to the Stadio Sinigaglia as he aimed to return to the Bundesliga.

Como push to sign Thiaw

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that Como are still pushing to reach an agreement with the 23-year-old centre-back and are open to letting him visit the club’s training facilities to facilitate a possible transfer.

Como have offered Thiaw a €4m-a-year contract and are ready to pay €40m to sign both him and Alvaro Morata from Milan.

Como beat Celtic to signing Addai

Como have already welcomed Martin Baturina and will soon confirm the signing of Jesus Rodriguez from Real Betis in the coming hours, but they have also reached an agreement with another talent to bolster their attacking department: AZ Alkmaar’s Addai.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Como will pay €14m for the 19-year-old who had also received an offer from Celtic.
