Como have not lost trust in Alvaro Morata and are confident that the striker will soon end his goal drought.
Morata was one of Como’s top signings last summer, but the Spaniard hasn’t yet scored a goal with the Azzurri this term.
Morata had earned and missed a penalty kick against Napoli in the previous round and made headlines for the wrong reasons on Saturday as he asked to be subbed off during a 0-0 draw against Cagliari.
The former Milan and Juventus striker was irritated after a clash with Yerry Mina, and his request to be substituted sums up pretty well his delicate moment.
Morata has joined Como on loan with an obligation to buy, which confirms the Azzurri have trust in the Spaniard.
The club is not even questioning the investment they’ve made and will continue waiting for the striker, as they are confident that he’ll soon end his goal drought.
