Chelsea are set to soon announce another new signing this week with another key position being sorted out.

Chelsea have moved on two of their goalkeepers this window with Kepa Arrizabalaga going on loan to Real Madrid, and Edouard Mendy heading to join the Saudi revolution.

So there was space for two new first-team keepers to arrive and of course, one already came in earlier this window with Robert Sanchez arriving from Brighton.

Next up is expected to be New England Revolution stopper Djordje Petrovic arriving from the MLS, with Fabrizio Romano confirming that deal last night.

So who will be Chelsea’s number one now?

Journalist Ben Jacobs says that Sanchez is still seen as the number one at Chelsea and Petrovic is arriving to provide him with competition.

Sanchez has started both Chelsea’s league games so far but I am sure that Petrovic will be arriving with a belief that he can overtake Sanchez and take the number one spot.
