Our exclusive has been confirmed, Warren Bondo is on the verge of completing his loan move from Milan to Cremonese.

As we reported this morning, the negotiations have not just started up again, but are barrelling towards a positive conclusion.

The direct communication between the midfielder and coach Davide Nicola proved crucial to changing his mind on the move, which Bondo had been hesitant about initially.

Bondo ready for Cremonese adventure

Milan are expected to give the all clear for the dry loan, which will probably come at a small fee for Cremonese.

He should be released for his medical tests by Tuesday at the latest.

The Frenchman turns 22 next month and had only come to Milan in the January transfer window at a cost of €10m plus up to €5m in add-ons from Monza.

Between injuries and the struggle to settle in, he made only five appearances in the Rossoneri jersey, for a grand total of 164 minutes of football.

With the arrival of Samuele Ricci, Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari, his playing time would be even more limited at San Siro this season.
