Cristiano Ronaldo Junior made his debut for the Portugal Under-15 side, watched over by scouts representing Juventus, Inter and Atalanta.

The 15-year-old is the son of former Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo and looks to be a chip off the old block.

He was called up to an Under-15 tournament in Croatia and made his debut for Portugal as a substitute at the 53rd minute against Japan.

Naturally, the proud father was watching on from the stands, but he wasn’t the only important figure there for the 4-1 Portuguese victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo Junior watched by top scouts

According to Sun Sport and the Corriere dello Sport, scouts representing top clubs were also present to keep a close eye on the young talent.

They included Inter, Juventus and Atalanta from Serie A, plus Manchester United and Tottenham for England, with German sides Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim.

This is standard procedure for these youth tournaments to spot the next new talent before anyone else, but when that player’s father is Cristiano Ronaldo, it warrants a separate spotlight.

Cristiano Ronaldo Junior is currently playing for the Al Nassr youth team, since his father moved there in January 2023.

His career inevitably followed the path of his father, so he started in the Juventus academy, moving to Manchester United in 2021.
