Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most recognised forwards in football history, with the striker having played for many clubs.
One of these is Manchester United, with Ronaldo having made two spells with the Red Devils.
The first of these, taking place between the years of 2003 and 2009, saw the Portuguese international make 270 appearances, scoring 109 times.
Meanwhile, the second of these spells (2021 to 2022), saw the now 40-year-old make 54 appearances and score 27 goals.
Furthermore, since leaving United at the end of 2022, Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr where he has been able to score 112 times in 125 appearances.
As well as this, his presence has seen him rewarded with a new club contract which gives him more powers within the club.
Meanwhile, recently, the former Manchester United player moved into AI whilst also being spotted alongside John Cena as filming took place for the latest Fast and Furious film.
With this in mind, and with Ronaldo hinting at a retirement from football earlier this year, the forward is arguably preparing for his career post-football.
However, in the meantime, he has now expressed a desire to play with Lionel Messi.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ronaldo has instructed his agents to offer him a contract with Inter Miami, setting aside the pre-founded rivalry that has historically separated him from Messi.
Furthermore, the source has revealed that he is even proposing a much lower salary than he currently earns in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr.
With this news now revealed, attention could turn to Saudi Arabia to see how Al-Nassr reacts.
Meanwhile, fans could also turn towards Ronaldo to see if he officially comments on the links between him and Messi currently emerging.
However, considering the busy life of the forward, fans may have to be patient to see a reaction.
