"I think there are many things you don't know," Bruno Fernandes said of his legendary Portugal teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes, captain of Manchester United, was asked to reveal some of Ronaldo's personal secrets at the Quinas De Ouro gala in Lisbon this week.
At the event, Ronaldo was given the Platinum Quinas award for his contributions to Portuguese soccer. While the records held by the all-time leading men's international goalscorer are well-known, his private life remains far more secluded, especially now that he plays club soccer in Saudi Arabia.
When given the opportunity to shine a light on some of Ronaldo's personal secrets, Fernandes and Portuguese Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva did not disappoint.
"He's good at dancing, he has good dance steps," Fernandes revealed in an interview for a video posted on Ronaldo's record-smashing YouTube channel. The unknown facts about CR7 did not stop there.
Ronaldo's dedication and work ethic have been defining traits of his successful career. During Monday's ceremony, he went so far as to question younger Portuguese players who do not adhere to the same standards as he does, taking a shot at Kylian Mbappe in the process.
Silva's revelation dove deeper into the topic of dedication. He explained that there is more to Ronaldo's fitness routine than meets the eye.

"He doesn't need to eat very often," the Man City star said. "I think he only eats lunch and dinner. He doesn't eat small meals. I think that's a good curiosity about him.”

The information in the video was not earth-shattering, but it cast a new light on some of the things that make an intense competitor like Ronaldo more human.
The 39-year-old is looking to add to his record of 133 goals for Portugal in its two UEFA Nations League matches this week, meeting Poland on Friday and Croatia on Monday.
