The conflict in the Middle East between Iran and the United States is continuing to develop, with Saudi Arabia now getting hit.

Throughout yesterday and today, reports have been emerging about the conflict, with the recent blitzing of a US embassy in Riyadh by Iran.

The strike was a retaliation for the US-Israeli bombing blitz on Saturday, with the Gulf conflict only getting more intense.

As such, it’s been reported that many foreigners to the country, including stranded Brits are making 300-mile desert journeys to evacuate from neighbouring Oman

However, The Sun has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet has also been seen evacuating.

The report explains that his £61 million aircraft was seen touching down in Madrid earlier today, however the Al-Nassr star was not on board.

Ronaldo has remained in Riyadh, with the club posting images of him training ahead of their match on Saturday with NEOM.

At this stage, it’s unknown if Ronaldo’s family, his partner Georgina Rodriguez, and his five children, were on the flight to Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Riyadh back in 2023 and has since become the face of the Saudi Pro League with multiple other big-name stars following his lead.

Now, the five time Ballon d’Or winner is seemingly remaining with his side, despite the fear of the surrounding conflict.

However, he’s not the only former Manchester United star to be caught up in the current conflict in the Gulf.

Over in Dubai, former Red Devil Rio Ferdinand, along with his wife Kate Ferdinand and three kids, have been taking refuge in their basement to find safety from the attacks hitting the city.

The player-turned-pundit commented the “frightening” air strikes forced the family into a Covid-style lockdown after leaving England last summer.
