Luka Vuskovic will be raring to impress Tottenham boss Thomas Frank in the upcoming pre-season

Tottenham Hotspur has now got a strong core of young talents who could be moulded into top players in the future.

Thomas Frank did a fantastic job of developing several players during his seven-year spell with Brentford. At Tottenham, he will be hoping to work his magic and develop players as well as nurture young talents. The Danish tactician will be excited to work with the squad left behind by Ange Postecoglou, having already made his ambitions clear to make Tottenham ‘serial winners’ again.

The Spurs players are due to arrive back at Hotspur Way for pre-season shortly, in which Thomas Frank will be assessing his new squad. Several players who spent the last season out on loan will also get a chance to impress the new boss. And Luka Vuskovic will be one to watch out for.

The Lilywhites plucked Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split in 2023 when the defender was still only 16 years old. However, the teenager was not able to join the club until after his 18th birthday. He has spent the past two seasons out on loan and enjoyed a highly productive spell with KVC Westerlo in Belgium during the 2024/25 campaign.

Thrilled with his performances in KVC Westerlo colours, Luka Vuskovic received his first senior Croatian cap earlier this year. The 18-year-old is now looking to settle down quickly at his new home after officially arriving at Tottenham.

On Thursday, the big Croat took to his official Instagram account to post a picture of the iconic Big Ben at Westminster. Ahead of the pre-season tour, Vuskovic appears to be sight-seeing and travelling across London- a city that he will now call home, ahead of starting his time at Spurs.

The Tottenham officials have been hugely impressed by Vuskovic’s development on loan at KVC Westerlo, where he amassed 2965 minutes in total across 36 appearances. In addition, he also netted an eye-catching seven goals. The centre-back has also spoken about his excitement to join the North Londoners and the next steps in his career.

Vuskovic is likely to get chances to impress in the pre-season tour, and if he does well, Frank may decide to keep him in the squad for next season rather than loan him. Tottenham need options in every position to compete on multiple fronts, and the 51-year-old tactician may chose to keep the Croatian and nurture him at the club itself.
