Daniel Levy contacts club chief for 'incredible' player, negotiations have started at £50 million

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, and they have already been in contact with their London rivals.

According to a report from GMS, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been in contact with David Sullivan regarding a move for the 24-year-old. Negotiations have started between the two clubs at £50 million, but the hammer will hold out for a higher fee. 

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can negotiate a deal in the coming weeks. The African attacker is reportedly open to the move.

Tottenham need Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham need a dynamic attacker like him who can slot in anywhere across the front three. He scored five goals last season and picked up four assists.

Kudus will add goals and creativity to the side if he joins. Tottenham need more quality and depth in the squad now that they have secured Champions League qualification for the next season. 

The Ghanaian is well settled in English football, and he could make an instant impact at Tottenham. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can negotiate a reasonable deal. Levy will not want to overpay for the player. 

West Ham are under financial pressure, and therefore, they are ready to get rid of the player this summer. They will need to improve their squad, and they need the funds from his departure to bring in their own signings.
