David Eze officially signs for Manchester United

The summer transfer window may be over but Manchester United are still making moves in their pursuit of improvement.

Their latest move has now been made with the club confirming the signing of David Eze.

“The central midfielder has joined the club after leaving Manchester City.

“The 16-year-old, who progressed through the academy system at City, has also been capped by England at youth level.

Eze is not the only former Manchester City player to sign for Manchester United in recent weeks with Karim Cassim also making the switch across Manchester.

With the signing of Issac Konde from Liverpool also expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, it is clear to see the club’s high ambitions.

Manchester United’s academy has stood out in previous decades as one of the world’s best with Marcus Rashford emerging as one of the club’s modern academy graduate greats.
