After Juventus turned to Victor Osimhen, now Al Qadsiah are reportedly pushing to sign free agent Jonathan David instead.
The Bianconeri want a new centre-forward this summer and are trying to push Dusan Vlahovic towards the exit.
After seemingly agreeing personal terms with Canada international David, last night it was reported they had resumed intensive negotiations with Osimhen’s entourage instead.
He will be costly, especially as the €75m release clause at Napoli is only valid for clubs outside of Italy, so they’d have to negotiate directly with their Serie A rivals.
It would seem Juventus stepping away from David had a knock-on effect, as Marco Conterio of Tuttomercatoweb claims today that Al Qadsiah have started pushing harder to get the former Lille striker.
They are ready to pay €15m in commission to his agent and a huge salary for the player, although the representative is reportedly asking for €25m.
Al Qadsiah had already been heavily linked with Moise Kean, who has a €52m release clause at Fiorentina active from today, but the Italy international is not interested in a Saudi Pro League move right now.
