Former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi could be set for a swift Premier League return.

The Italian is now being seen as the favorite to take the vacant Chelsea job.

Per The Mail, he has shot to the top of the club's list after Kieran McKenna was ruled out.

Now the 44-year-old Italian is seen as the hot favorite to clinch the post over the likes of Thomas Frank and Enzo Maresca.

Despite finishing sixth in the Premier League, Chelsea have opted for a managerial change.

Mauricio Pochettino was shown the door and will be replaced in the coming weeks.
