Departing Brentford captain Pontus Jansson: I returning to Malmo to help

Departing Brentford captain Pontus Jansson is excited to be returning to Malmo FF this summer.

The 32 year-old will return to MFF having originally left in 2014.

He told Expressen: "I have always felt an obligation to move home and be at a good level. There is a sense of pride in coming home in this situation, to come home as a starting player in the Premier League.

"I just think it turned out well. We cannot escape the fact that the autumn Malm had was disastrous on all fronts. It was windy in the association and I thought it was a lot of work.

"I have always said that 'the day Malm needs me, then it is more likely that I will come home'."
