Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly developed a ‘serious’ interest in PSV Eindhoven winger Ivan Perisic.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are waiting for PSV’s ‘signal’ to launch an offer.
Ivan Perisic has rolled back the years at the Philips Stadion this season, racking up five goals and ten assists in 25 games.
Therefore, he has established himself as one of Peter Bosz’s most consistent attacking threats.
Needless to say, the Peasants are reluctant to cut him loose midway through the campaign.
Inter boss Cristian Chivu remains strapped for options on the right wing.
Indeed, star wingback Denzel Dumfries is unlikely to return to action before the end of February.
Meanwhile, Luis Henrique has failed to live up to the billing.
As such, Inter are on the lookout for a new winger after being priced out of the move for Marco Palestra.
Perisic would be a decent short-term option for the Nerazzurri, but they must convince PSV to sanction the sale.
