Di Marzio: ‘Newcastle United Have Not Yet Made An Offer’ For Inter Milan & Italy Star

Newcastle United have not yet made an offer to Inter Milan for midfielder Davide Frattesi

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInter1908.

Yesterday, news emerged of fresh Newcastle United interest in Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi.

Reportedly, the Magpies have lined the 25-year-old as one of their main targets in midfield for the last couple days of the summer transfer window.

Newcastle have made contact with Inter to signal their interest according to various reports.

However, with so little time left in the transfer window, the Premier League side must move quickly if they are to get a deal in before deadline day.

Di Marzio: “Newcastle Haven’t Made An Inter Offer For Davide Frattesi”

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported that “the Nerazzurri would accept a transfer which is for all practical purposes permanent” for Frattesi.

“In essence, the club are requesting a loan with an obligation on almost certain terms.”

“Then they could sell the player,” Di Marzio explained. “And potentially also sign another midfielder.”

“We’ll see what happens over the next few days.”
