Tottenham correspondent for Football London, Alasdair Gold, has revealed that another Spurs player has picked up a hamstring injury.

The North London club have been quite unfortunate this season with injuries, with a ridiculous total of 21 players from Ange Postecoglou’s side have been victims of injuries at some point this season.

And interestingly, hamstring injuries have been one of the most recurring injuries so far.

The likes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso and Ben Davies have all been victims to the hamstring issue, as well as looks like youngster Alfie Dorrington has become the latest to have suffered a hamstring problem.

The injury crisis has started trickling down to the youngsters as well. Earlier this week, it was reported that Jamie Donley is facing a slight hamstring issue which is expected to keep him out for a week.

And now Gold has revealed that another youngster, Alfie Dorrington has picked up a hamstring injury last night.

As per him, the injury did not look good, and looked similar to the one that kept Micky van de Ven out for months.

TBH Says:

The increasing number of injuries in both the first-team and youngsters should now be a matter of concern for Spurs.

In particular, the frequent hamstring injuries should be studied and analysed. The medical team and the coaches need to identify what is that’s triggering these and need to find a solution.
