Atletico Madrid have taken another step towards a La Liga top four finish with a late 1-0 home win against Celta Vigo.
Los Rojiblancos are now eight points ahead in fourth spot, as they aim to secure another UEFA Champions League place for next season, with three games remaining in 2023/24.
The hosts carved out a string of early chances but they were unable to punish a Celta side battling against relegation.
With the home side unable to convert those chances, Celta rallied after the restart, and Atletico only sealed the victory late on as Rodrigo De Paul crashed home a superb volley.
