Done Deal: Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata delighted with Torino move

Torino have signed Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.

Zapata has joined Toro on-loan with an option to buy.

"I'm very happy to be here," he said. "The club and the fans have shown me their affection, I'm happy with the welcome. There's a lot of enthusiasm for my arrival, I want to repay the affection and the effort of the club.

"I would like to thank the president because he made a great effort for me to be here. In these years you have seen that I am not one to talk many words, I let the pitch do the talking. We hope that for Sunday I can show my skills. I'm hungry, I want to leave my mark. This club is a lot of history, I want to do well.

"Never being satisfied is one of my characteristics: sometimes certain situations have conditioned me, such as injuries, but I consider myself someone who always works and I always remain positive, even on the pitch. I hope there is an immediate mutual feeling."
