As Football Italia reported yesterday, Como have shaken hands with Real Betis for Jesus Rodriguez in a deal worth circa €25m, but Milan defender Malick Thiaw remains unconvinced.
The Lariani are extremely active on the market this summer after securing their Serie A status and have made another impressive investment.
The deal is now done with Real Betis for their attacking winger Jesus Rodriguez, with the cost expected to be €20m plus around €5m in various bonuses and add-ons.
He should be booked in for a medical next week, building on a campaign where he scored five goals and provided four assists in 44 competitive games for Betis.
Meanwhile, Como are finding it more difficult to convince Milan defender Thiaw to join them along with teammate Alvaro Morata.
The German is not entirely sure about the destination, especially after receiving approaches for a return to the Bundesliga earlier in the summer.
Coach Cesc Fabregas will try to talk it over with Thiaw personally to reassure him of the Como project after striking a deal worth €25m plus bonuses with Milan.
