Fabrizio Romano reports Milan star Olivier Giroud has signed a contract until December 2025 with LAFC.

France international Giroud will join MLS side LAFC on a free transfer in June, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms.

The experienced forward had already agreed personal terms with the American club in March, but news broke on Tuesday night that he had signed a contract until June 2025.

This means that he will leave Milan on a free transfer on June 30 and join the MLS side on a free transfer.

Giroud signs LAFC contract

“Giroud can be considered a new LAFC player,” Romano wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Giroud joined Milan from Chelsea in 2021 and won the Serie A title with the Rossoneri in his first season at the club.

The 37-year-old has 15 goals and nine assists in 42 appearances across all competitions this season.

A former Chelsea and Arsenal striker, Giroud will join his teammate Hugo Lloris at LAFC. Previous reports claimed the French goalkeeper had been pushing to reunite with the Milan striker in Los Angeles next season.
