Newcastle United are set to complete their first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Magpies are said to have secured an agreement to sign Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.
The Mail claims that playing for former Cherries manager Eddie Howe was part of the reason for the decision.
Kelly is ready to test himself at the highest level and believes that he can be a key player for Newcastle.
Given their limited transfer budget, Newcastle must wheel and deal this summer.
Another free agent signing they are pushing to complete is Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham.
