Douglas Luiz has arrived at Continassa, and his agents are expected to sit down with the Bianconeri to discuss the midfielder’s future.
Douglas Luiz has finally arrived at the Juventus training ground after missing the first few days of pre-season without the club’s consent.
Juventus began pre-season preparations on July 23, but Douglas Luiz did not show up, which will cost him a fine from his club.
According to Gazzetta, the representatives of the Brazilian midfielder will meet with Juventus directors today to determine the next steps regarding the player’s future.
Douglas Luiz has been linked with several Premier League clubs, especially West Ham and Everton, but Juventus aim for a permanent €40m transfer to avoid a capital loss.
The Bianconeri’s target appears quite challenging, especially because Douglas Luiz played less than 900 minutes across all competitions in 2024-25, without scoring goals or providing assists.
Gazzetta also mentions Nottingham Forest and Manchester United among the clubs interested in the ex-Aston Villa star.
Turkish sources quoted by Gazzetta claim that Fenerbahçe have recently shown interest in Douglas Luiz, and it’s probably no coincidence that their director, Devin Ozek, is heading to Italy.
