Douglas Luiz’s latest comments are likely to deepen his struggles at Juventus this season, as the Brazilian publicly expressed his nostalgia for former club Aston Villa.

Such remarks may further complicate his situation in Turin, potentially damaging an already strained relationship with Juventus fans — as illustrated by a recent episode in which he fired back at a Bianconeri supporter on social media.

A return to the Premier League could now be on the horizon for Douglas Luiz , with Nottingham Forest recently named as frontrunners in the race to sign him.
