Douglas Luiz’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is expected to meet with Premier League clubs interested in his client this week, but the Juventus midfielder has already put talks with Fulham and Leeds on hold, reports Tuttosport.
Juventus are ready to sell Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz and are waiting for an appropriate offer, which is likely to come from the Premier League this summer.
Several clubs from the English top flight have already sounded out the availability of the ex-Aston Villa star, including Fulham and Leeds.
According to Tuttosport, however, Douglas Luiz is not entirely convinced about joining either side, so he’s waiting for his agent to meet with other interested clubs.
Everton made contact with Douglas Luiz’s representative last week, while Nottingham Forest and Manchester United held talks before the start of the summer transfer window.
West Ham are not mentioned in the latest Tuttosport story, but the Turin-based paper reported an offer from the Hammers last week.
According to Tuttosport, the player’s agent Joorabchian is expected to travel to England this week to discuss with Premier League clubs interested in his client.
In the meantime, Juventus seem eager to change their stance on the transfer formula, potentially discussing a loan deal with an obligation to buy tied to certain conditions.
