Edu and Arteta delighted as Jorginho pens new Arsenal contract

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has signed a new contract.

It's understood Jorginho has penned a deal to 2025.

"We are very happy that Jorginho has signed a new contract with us. He represents what we stand for here at Arsenal with his professionalism," said sporting director Edu.

"I know that everyone at the club will be very happy that Jorginho continues with us. Not just the players and coaches, but the entire staff behind the scenes."

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said: "Jorginho is such an important part of our team, a role model with strong leadership qualities and a unique style of play that makes everyone around him on the pitch better.
