Bundesliga sides Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach are interested in signing Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward was one of the most positive players in the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore, but could still depart the club this summer due to his poor performances last campaign.

Frankfurt and Mönchengladbach are both keen on Muriqi and Lazio are open to a loan with a buy option attached, although they’d prefer a loan with a possible obligation to buy clause attached.

Sporting director Igli Tare has joined the squad and staff for the pre-season camp in Marienfeld and so his presence in Germany could help deepen the talks.

The 27-year-old Muriqi, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, made 27 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 821 minutes. In that time, he only scored one goal, below his expected goals of 4.6
