Eintracht Frankfurt set Hugo Larsson asking price

Hugo Larsson has emerged as one of Manchester United’s newest transfer targets, with even more names emerging from the fold as the window continues.

The midfielder, who has been at Frankfurt since 2023, has made 119 appearances for the German club across three seasons, scoring ten goals.

At his previous club, Malmo, the 22-year-old Swede made 61 appearances, scoring three goals, after coming through the club’s youth academy set-up.

For his national team, on the other hand, across a three-year stretch, the midfielder has picked up 12 caps. He also picked up further caps for his country at youth international level.

Links between Larsson and Manchester United began in the late stages of 2024 with the Red Devils shortlisting the midfielder before the club was reportedly close to a deal for him in the early stages of 2025.

Such deal was never completed although further scouting emerged earlier this year.

Absolut Fussball have now provided an update on the midfielder’s situation, stating that the asking price for the 22-year-old at the start of last season was €60m but that sum is now considered unrealistic.

The outlet have revealed, therefore, that the Bundesliga club will not let Hugo Larsson leave the club for less than €40m this summer.

Relating to current interest, the publication have stated that there is currently no concrete interest between clubs and is currently no offer for the midfielder.

For Manchester United, a door is open. With no official offer or negotiation yet, the club could make the first move and start their bid to sign the midfielder.

With Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans already signed, however, the possibility of this occuring is unknown.

The next few weeks, which will see the transfer window approach its conclusion, may be crucial in dictating whether United attempt to sign Larsson this summer.
